For the third year in a row, Costa Ricans can be part of “La Feria Viajera,” the country’s biggest and most important travel event, taking place May 17 and 18 at the Pedregal Event Center, with free admission.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and until 6 p.m. on Sunday, with more than 80 travel experts across 5,000 square meters, where attendees can start planning their adventures around the world.
You’ll find advisors, insurers, hotels, car rental companies, cruise lines, theme parks, and visa paperwork specialists, among other categories.

“We’re the country’s main travel fair, bringing together the new wave of travel advisors and their followers, along with tourism suppliers. In 2025, we doubled the fair’s total space to offer more variety for all the visitors who dream of living the experiences these advisors promote on social media,” explained Daniel Fernández, producer of La Feria Viajera.
Attendees at “La Feria Viajera” can enter to win a range of prizes from the organizers and exhibitors, including cruises, hotel stays, and luggage, among others.
At “La Feria Viajera,” you can discover the New Way to Travel, a style of experiential tourism adapted to digital trends, where each traveler organizes their next adventure to fit their own tastes and budget.
The 2024 edition of “La Feria Viajera” drew more than 10,000 attendees, who took advantage of the deals, offers, and promotions during the expo weekend to plan their trips.
