The traveler who turned his passion into your best guide
The person behind La Mochila de Kike (Spanish for “Kike’s Backpack”) is Enrique Rivas, though everybody calls him Kike. He’s a journalist who has spent more than a decade exploring the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa. He’s not your typical travel influencer posing in front of landmarks. He’s that well-traveled friend who tells you what nobody else will, from where to eat well in Bangkok to how to dodge airport scams.
More than a travel blog
La Mochila de Kike grew out of a desire to see the world for real, with no filters and no script. What started as a personal travel journal is now a place for people looking for honest information, practical tips, and genuine experiences.
