Wingo Flights From Costa Rica to Panama Will Land at Tocumen Airport

Wingo announced that it’s changing the airport it uses in Panama for its flights from Costa Rica, and it will now land at the country’s Tocumen Airport.

The change applies to all of its flights starting August 20, 2024, and the airline will no longer use Panamá Pacífico International Airport (BLB).

The goal is to offer more connections to travelers who use that airport to reach other destinations in the Americas.

Keep in mind that the change doesn’t kick in until that date, so if you’re flying with this airline before then, you’ll arrive at BLB.

Wingo is Copa Airlines’ low-cost carrier, so travelers from Costa Rica who fly with it will have better connections with this airline.

From Juan Santamaría International Airport, travelers can also fly Wingo nonstop to Bogotá, Colombia.

This airport change will give the airline more room to offer flights and more available seats for passengers.

Remember that if you want to fly Wingo from Costa Rica, the airline has 4 fare options to choose from: Go Basic, Vuela como la mayoría, Vuela con más, and Vuela Extra Cómodo.

Since it’s a low-cost airline, keep in mind that every service you use with this carrier will cost extra.
